Deep within our mind spins a story. That story triggers the thought, feeling, action sequence that drives the reality we experience. For those dealing with depression and anxiety; that sequence leads to low levels of enjoyment, relationship issues, isolation, avoidance, unemployment, addiction, and legal problems. One in five of 'us' deals with this on some level. These are the people I serve.

I am Timm Lockhart. I'm a licensed professional counselor who holds a Masters in Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. Using an eclectic approach, I blend modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology (PPT) with the goal of assisting clients experience heightened joy in their life. I have field experience in addiction recovery, residential and outpatient treatment settings, mobile crisis, and within the Connecticut Department of Corrections.

I believe in the power of thought, and the impact those thoughts have on what we experience.
